1. Information We Collect
Account Information. When you register for an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored in hashed form, never in plaintext).
Launch Notifications. If you ask to be notified when one of our apps launches (for example, our iPhone app), we collect the email address you give us, without requiring an account, and use it only to send that notification. You can ask us to remove it at any time by contacting us.
Uploaded Content. We collect and store the code and other materials you upload to the Platform in order to provide our services.
Data You Save in Apps. When you are signed in and use an app hosted on the Platform, the app can ask us to save a small amount of data for you in that app, such as game progress or your answer to a poll. We store it linked to your account and to that app. Other people using the same app may see statistics combined from everyone's saved data (for example, how many players chose each answer), which can show the saved values themselves. We do not attach your name or account to those statistics, but an app decides what it saves, so do not enter anything into an app that you would not want other people using it to see. If you choose to share your identity with an app, we also store the name you picked for that app.
Usage & Device Data. We operate our own first-party, in-house analytics — we do not use third-party advertising or analytics networks. When you interact with the Platform we may record a cookie-based anonymous visitor identifier, the pages and features you use, the page that referred you, the terms you search for, your browser and device type (user-agent string), your IP address, and the approximate location (country, region, and city) derived from it. IP addresses are restricted to administrators and are automatically deleted after a limited retention period.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account
- Provide, operate, and improve the Platform
- Analyze usage patterns to enhance user experience
- Build the remixes you ask for, draw icon artwork, screen apps for prohibited content, and recommend apps, using the AI services listed under "AI Services" below
- Respond to your requests, questions, or support needs
- Enforce our Terms of Service
3. Third-Party Services
We rely on third-party infrastructure providers to host and operate the Platform — including cloud application hosting, managed database hosting, and object/file storage — who process data solely to provide those services on our behalf.
Our product analytics are first-party and in-house; we do not share your usage data with third-party advertising or analytics networks. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
The AI services we use, and exactly what each one receives, are listed in the next section.
4. AI Services
Some features send content to outside artificial-intelligence (AI) services. Where that content includes something you typed, we tell you what is sent and to whom, and ask for your permission in the app before the first time it is sent. This section lists every such use.
Remixing (OpenAI). When you ask VibePlat to build a remix, we send your remix description, together with the source app's public listing (name, tagline, description, tags) and published code, to OpenAI, which generates the new app. The finished app is then screened as described under "Content screening" below. We do not send your name, email address or account details. You are asked to agree before your first remix, on the web and in the iOS app, and we record that agreement on your account. OpenAI processes this data under its API terms: it does not use the data to train its models and may retain it for up to 30 days to monitor for abuse.
Icon artwork (OpenAI). For a remix VibePlat built, we may ask OpenAI to draw the new app's icon from a short description of the app that the generation produced. No personal information is included.
Content screening (OpenRouter). Before an app is published, including an app VibePlat built as a remix, its listing (name, tagline, description, tags) and a summary of its code may be sent through OpenRouter to a content-classification model (TypeSafe Jev) to detect content our Terms prohibit, such as gambling or sexually explicit material. OpenRouter does not train on these requests and forwards them to the model's own provider. No account information is included.
Recommendations (OpenAI). To rank and recommend apps, we may send an app's public listing and code to OpenAI's embedding service to derive a numeric description of its content. This describes the app, not you; no account information is included.
These providers process data only to provide the service to us, under API terms that do not permit the recipient to use it to train its models and that require it to keep the data confidential and secure, so the data receives the same or equal protection as described in this Privacy Policy. If we add an AI service or change what one receives, we will update this section first.
5. Apps Made by Other Users
Apps on the Platform are made by independent creators, not by VibePlat. An app can connect to services run by its creator or by other third parties. Anything you enter into such an app, together with information your browser sends automatically (such as your IP address and device type), may be sent to those services, and how they handle it is governed by the creator's or the third party's own practices, not by this Privacy Policy.
We do not give apps your email address or your account name. The identifier we give an app for you is different in every app, and an app receives a name for you only if you agree to share one when the app asks.
Check an app's description before entering personal information into it. To report an app that misuses information, contact us at support@vibeplat.ai.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account information and uploaded content for as long as your account is active. Analytics records are kept on a rolling basis, and raw IP addresses are automatically pruned after a limited retention period. When you ask us to delete your account, we sign you out everywhere and unlist your apps straight away, and we permanently erase your profile, personal information and analytics records 30 days later. During those 30 days the deletion can be cancelled by signing in again — this delay exists so that someone who gains access to your account cannot destroy it before you can stop them. Residual copies in backups are removed within a further 30 days. We keep transaction records required for accounting and records required to enforce our Terms, with your name and contact details removed, where retention is required by law.
7. Your Choices
You may update your account information at any time through your account settings. From Settings you can also see which apps have saved data for you and clear it, and choose which apps may know your name. You can delete your account yourself from Settings on the web and in the iOS app — no request is needed. Deletion is scheduled rather than instant: you are signed out and your apps are unlisted immediately, and the erasure completes 30 days later unless you sign in again to cancel it. Suspended accounts cannot be deleted while a moderation decision is outstanding; contact us at support@vibeplat.ai. Data export is not yet self-service; to request a copy of your data, contact us at the same address.
California Residents (CCPA). If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Opt out of the sale of your personal information (we do not sell personal information)
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights

8. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
The Platform is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately at support@vibeplat.ai.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on the Platform and updating the "Last updated" date above.
