NINE 九格传画

Panel 1 is a sentence. Panel 2 is somebody drawing that sentence, having seen only the sentence. Panel 3 is somebody describing that drawing, having seen only the drawing. Nine panels later the finished comic lands in the inbox of everyone who touched it. You take one panel at a time, and while it is your turn you see NOTHING except the single panel before yours. Not the comic, not the other panels, not who came before you. Nine panels means nine different people, and the game enforces it: you can never take two panels of the same comic, and there is a ten-minute wait between turns. That wait is not a locked screen — it becomes a countdown that hands you the gallery and your inbox to read. Writing a panel and drawing one feel completely different. Writing is a blank line on warm paper, a hard 48-character limit, and three free words if you are stuck. Drawing is a proper ink tool: pen, blob, eraser, undo, four risograph inks and four nib widths. Your drawing is not stored as pixels. The game keeps the handful of control points that describe each line, and every screen re-inks them at its own size — so a hand-drawn circle costs 36 bytes, a whole panel usually 120 to 200, and the same panel is sharp as a 40px thumbnail and as a full-page poster. It has to be small: every live panel in the world arrives in one response. Nobody owns the gallery. When a comic finishes, whoever happens to be looking copies it into their own save, and that copy keeps it alive after all nine authors have moved on. It works offline too. There is no lock on this platform, so two people can take panel 5 of the same comic at the same second. Nothing is thrown away: every client works out the same winner, and the other panel is rebased into the next comic at the same slot, same job. Nobody is dropped in cold: a four-step tour puts a whole finished comic in front of you before your first turn. Four seeded examples, so it is never empty. Works as a guest.
